The Lord Laugh's (Psalm 2)

Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?

The kings of the earth take their stand
and the rulers gather together
against the LORD
and against his Anointed One.

"Let us break their chains," they say,
"and throw off their fetters."

The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.

Then he rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,

"I have installed my King
on Zion, my holy hill."

How would your life be different if you truly believe God is always in control?
Read Psalm 2, the Lord laughs at those who plan against him, I love that our King is sovereign over all things. We worship a King that will never be defeated!!!

Psalm 1

Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners
or sit in the seat of mockers.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

Look at the promise for the man who loves the law of the LORD.
Do you love the law of the Lord?

David's Greatest Hits

This summer we are going to walk through the book of Psalms together. It is our dessire to help students understand how to fall deeper in love with the Lord from the honest and volunerable words of the poets. Over the course of the summer our desire is to see all students read the book of Psalm, learn how to prayer through the Psalm and begin to be open and honest with God about where they are in there spiritual journey. Get ready for an exciting summer of life changing teaching, intense self discovery and a deeper love for the Lord. It all starts on June 8th at 10:30 AM at both Campuses!
